Basic Expertise Training has been going on since 2018.
BASIC EXPERTISE TRAINING
With regard to the announcement made by the Directorate of Expertise, Turkish Ministry of Justice;
Since all expertise courses have been suspended as of March 2nd, 2020, we only accept pre-registration until further notice by the Ministry.
For your information.
Basic Training consists of total 25 course hours — 18 hours theoretical and 6 hours practical.
Theoretical courses; consists of general principles of jurisdiction law, provisions of expertise regulations, qualifications required for expertise, authority and responsibilities of expert witnesses, fundamental ethics principles, evidential bases, procedures and principles of expertise, principles and procedures for differentiating technical/legal aspects, procedures and techniques of report writing.
Practical courses; Use of Expertise Information Network, preparing a sample expertise report on a sample case as individuals or in groups in order to improve participants’ ability to use systematic techniques.

Participants can make tuition fee payments outright via online banking using their credit cards (or in two installments via DenizBank credit cards). It is also available to visit the Department of Financial Affairs of TED University in person and make tuition fee payment in four installments using one of MAXIMUM, BONUS or CARD FINANS cards. In order to finalize enrollment, tuition fee must be paid prior to the commencement of classes.

SECTION 5: PRACTICE
Attendance is mandatory at basic training. An attendance sheet will be prepared showing attendance status of the participants. Those who fail to attend 1/12 (2 class hours) of the classes are to be dismissed from the program; no tuition fee refund be available to them and they will not be entitled to receive a certificate of participation.

WHO MAY ATTEND?
An “Expertise Regulation” has been published in the Official Gazette and has been effective as of 03/08/2017 within the scope of the Law on Experts, No. 6754. According to the Clause 1 of the Article 30 of the related regulation, those with five years’ experience in their professions may attend the Basic Expertise Training.
“Those who have studied law cannot be assigned as expert witnesses unless they certify an additional field of expertise other than Law.” (Code of Civil Procedure, Article 266, Code of Criminal Procedure, Article 63) and “Those who have studied law… cannot be registered or listed as expert witnesses … unless having certified an additional field of expertise other than law.” (Law on Experts, Article 10/4). Lawyers must consider these aspects when filing an application.
VENUE OF THE TRAINING
Classes will be held in the Room No. GB06 at Blok G on TED University campus.
TEDUSEM reserves the right to make changes in the venue and time of the classes.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION
Applicants must fill in the pre-application form. Applicants will then be informed about the tuition fee payment and submission of the documents mentioned below upon being included in the quota based on their dates of application.
PS: Students who have finalized their enrollment via email will be notified about the documents required.
Those who wish to attend the program must submit the following documents to our Center.

Participants must necessarily specify name-surname, Turkish Rep. ID No and the name of the program in the explanations field of the receipt.
Payment via Credit Card:
Payment via credit card is available as one-off payment (or in installments for those contracted credit cards).
CERTIFICATE TO BE DELIVERED
At the end of the training, participants will be presented a certificate of participation showing that they have completed the “Basic Expertise Training” successfully. In accordance with the Article 30 of the Expertise Regulation, those who have failed to attend 1/12 of the classes are to be dismissed from the program and they will not be entitled to receive a certificate of participation or a tuition fee refund.
